Requirements listed below and all previous
are needed to achieve the rank of
Jr. Black Belt
Under The Age 16
Jr. Black Belts will have to meet all standard requirements of a black belt, but may not receive the rank title of; Sensei. The title of “Juunia Shodan”, or junior 1st Degree will appear on their rank certificate, until the age and maturity requirements are met. Student must be at least 16 and demonstrate a maturity and growth in the martial arts, to simply be 16 is not enough. When a student has met these requirements, they will be tested again for their rank and awarded any time dedicated to the dojo towards their next level. Example; If the students earns a jr black belt at age 15 and they meet all requirements at age 16, they will be eligible for their adult black belt and will be given one year of training towards their 2nd degree promotion. UWMA takes a lot of pride in it’s black belts and does not hand them out lightly, this does not mean we hold you back; it just means you’ll earn it.

1) Head 1 “based on #1 angle”
2) Head 2 “based on #2 angle”

Advanced Bat

Advanced Freestyle Self Defense
Student must poses a proficiency against any weapon they have trained with, and be able to defend against any random attack from all angles. Deeper explanation of this will be explained by the testing instructor.
